Forest School at St Philip’s is an immersive, child-centred outdoor learning approach, providing regular, hands-on experiences in a woodland setting to foster holistic development.
Through activities like woodland crafts, den building, bug hunting, bird watching, and nature exploration, children build confidence, independence, and resilience, while developing a deep connection with the natural world.
If your child is in Nursery they will visit our forest school every week. If your child is in Reception they will visit in a smaller group once every half term on a Friday.
Please make sure your child has a pair of wellies, waterproof coat, a hat and a pair of gloves in school.
