Help us to take care of your child's uniform & possessions when they are in school

  • Label all clothes - this is extremely important. The number of items in lost property is unbelievable
  • If your child loses an item of clothing or bag etc. - please check with your child’s class teacher first and then at the school office straight away. They are very understanding and will help to find the item.
  • Please make sure all coats have a suitable loop so they can hang it on a peg
  • Jewellery should not be worn, other than watches and stud earrings
  • Parents are asked to carefully consider the risks involved in wearing jewellery
  • Earrings and watches must be removed for PE and games anyway so we do not accept responsibility for items which are mislaid

Personal Property

All items of personal property or clothing such as coats, pumps etc. are brought onto the school premises at the parents own risk.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE COST OF UNIFORM

Families entitled to Free School Meals will be issued with a school voucher in late Summer to help with uniform costs.

Mrs Devi will hand out these vouchers which can be presented at the till in exchange for any product in The Uniform Shop.

This means that if you do not actually need any items with school logo at that time, then you can use the face value of the vouchers for any other appropriate item of clothing or footwear.

Specific brands and logos are not statutory, therefore you may use your vouchers to purchase generic items from supermarkets or any school uniform shops.

The school have some second-hand items, donated by our families, which we give to families in need.  If you are struggling to pay for your child's school uniform, we can help - just ask Mrs. Devi in the school office.
